After 17 years of maturation, this Glenfarclas has developed a soft and refined flavour of sherry-cask oak (dried dark fruits, soft spices) and an increase in the depth and complexity of flavour. Hints of butterscotch and jaffa-cake also come through, along with just a little hint of peat smoke. As always from Glenfarclas, this is a classy and elegant single malt.
